Sienna Miller Biography

Despite winning multiple awards including an Oscar for "The Reader" and many nominations in the last 14 years, Kate Winslet will always be remembered for "Titanic". The iconic scene everyone remembers is Winslet standing in the bow of the "Ship of Dreams" supported by Leonardo Dicaprio as the haunting tune "My Heart Will Go On" was played in the background. Born in Reading Berkshire where her grandparents Linda and Archibald Oliver Bridges founded and operated the repertory theatre, her parents were "jobbing actors" and her Uncle Robert was in the original West End production...

The Most Popular Latino Songs Spanish Latin Top Songs

It's difficult to really define what Rock and Roll music is, or where it really started, but Rock and Roll is definitely when guitar playing as we now know it started. Elvis Presley must be given some of the credit for it, with his hips swinging and the raunchiness of the songs, although he did not really play guitar well at the time. He did however start the craze of screaming girls at his shows, it was all about sex really, and in fact that is how it got the name Rock & Roll.

Ultimate Guitar Tab A Guide to Finding Great Tablature Online

Companies like Boss, Ibanez and Digitech began mass producing single effect pedals in the 70′s and 80′s, but professional guitarists began to realize that chaining together 8 or 10 (or more) effects pedals together into one pedal board became cumbersome, so the rack-mount multi effect unit was born. This allowed players like David Gilmour to re-create their incredible recorded sounds in a live setting.

Wedding Bands/Music Make the Right Choice

The first and most important thing is to decide what kinds of songs and music that you want to be played on your big day. There are so many options to choose from like traditional wedding bands/music, contemporary, light-hearted, religious, eclectic or somber. You can also choose music pertaining to a specific culture or according to the theme of your wedding if any. Once you have decided the framework, consider half the job done. It is best to sit down with your partner and make the selection rather than do it all by yourself; if you have hired a wedding planner, then make sure that she is also a part of your discussions as the music must reflect the overall mood of the wedding.

Metrodome Collapse: See the Vikings Stadium Fall Apart – Bleacher Report

Metrodome Collapse: This is what you have been hearing about for the past few hours. Yesterday evening the roof of the Metrodome faltered and collapsed under the weight of an extreme amount of snow. As you can see in the video, what starts as a small leak quickly turns into a nightmare for Vikings officials.  The entire roof seems to deflate and then allows snow to pour onto the field negating any possibility of the team playing there anytime soon

4 Easy Tips To Help You Promote Your Music

Having your own recording studio is a wonderful thing, it gives you freedom of musical exploration and creativity and there are no expensive fees involved like there would be if you were recording at a big major studio - it is completely yours. Beginner Saxophone FAQs

On your search for music download programs, make sure that the ones you want are easy to download and use. Many websites advertise easy-to-use systems, but once you have downloaded them, you find that they're just the opposite. When you are trying to create your own beats and music, the last thing you want is a hard-to-use music software download.

Where and How You Can Get Karaoke Songs for Your Song Library

My advice on this is simple. Do not try to run when you are learning to walk. I have seen this many times, and, to be honest, I did it in a minor way myself. Do not be pushing your songs about when you are not yet capable. A lot of people I know have looked up to someone and have sent their track or played their track to more accomplished friends before they were ready. There is not good outcome from this really.

A Look At The History of Hip Hop

Mixtapes are compilations of songs and in the hip-hop world, and they developed from a technique to enjoy club music to an advertising tool. At first, DJs made money by recording their gigs, which served as a predecessor to rap albums. Had these been catalogued as rap records, artists like Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five would have gone platinum. Today, hip-hop artists use these cd's to generate hype for their music. Let's look back to find out how the genre reached this point.

Japanese Zen Flute Shakuhachi History, Information and Facts

Discovering the history of jazz in Vietnam is not difficult. It starts and ends with saxophonist Quyen Van Minh. If you like your jazz hot, cool, or anything in between; if you like your nightclubs dim, smoky, and walled with neon beer signs, posters and pictures of jazz greats; if you like your women dreamy, slinky, wearing bright dresses fitted like snake-skins and men in silk suits or wearing tee shirts and berets; if you like the best mixed drinks in town and great food; then you must be in Vietnam - Minh's Jazz Club in Hanoi, to be exact....

Arts and Entertainment:Music from EzineArticles.com

The shakuhachi is a Japanese end-blown flute. It is the Japanese most well-known woodwind instrument. The shakuhachi flute (or also known as Zen flute) is used by Zen Buddhist as a tool for meditation as well as playing jazz, classical and traditional Japanese folk music. This flute is made from the very bottom of a bamboo tree, but versions now exist in ABS and hardwoods.

Uh-oh! This is not a good sign!

Chelsea Handler's NBC pilot, Are You There, Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea has not even debuted yet for its first season, and it's already getting some serious casting switch-ups!

Natalie Morales, Angel Laketa Moore, and Jo Koy, who all appeared in the pilot episode, have been given the axe, for what an NBC spokesperson claims to be "creative reasons." Apparently, the roles will be "re-conceived" for the full series.

Personally, from what we could see from the previews, the problems with that show go FAR beyond casting, so we hope that the creative powers that be can get it together before it gets canned three or four episodes in!

Best of luck, guys!

Sixteen epic years of rock is what the Foo Fighters had under their belt when they started recording and production on their newest album, Wasting Light.
